Technical data: Displacement sensor
The displacement sensor is used for analogue linear measurements of industrial refrigeration compressors in connection with capacity control. The sensor is certifided to ATEX/IECEx. It has a measurement travel of max. 0-25 mm, and can be calibrated for a minimum measurement travel of 0-5 mm. The sensor sends an analogue 4-20 mA signal corresponding to a max. movement of 0-25 mm. The sensor is designed for harsh environments in a refrigeration system, and it can handle vibrations and high pressure up to 100 bar.
Intrinsically Safe design:
Intrinsically Safe (IS) sensors are designed and wired to work on such a low current and voltage that it cannot possibly ignite flammable material. By limiting the energy available within the defined hazardous area, electrical equipment can operate safely even amid hazardous mixtures of gasses.
